This is kind of morbid…
Ever since Gary and Alexis recommended “Six Feet Under” to me I’ve been hooked. On the show, someone gave David, a character, a book called Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, by Mary Roach. I got too curious at the library and decided I wanted to know about the lives of human cadavers. The book focuses on mostly scientific uses for corpses and some of them surprised me. Crash test dummies–it is really quite noble, because someone donated their body to science we can hit a wall in our auto going 60 mph and live. Ballistics testing–more brave young men and women come back from war than ever before because less lethal bullets have been developed. I highly recommend reading it to anyone considering donating their body to science. (I also recommend it to anyone considering injecting their wrinkles or penis enlargement…unless you just don’t want to know.)
